Actually that would be a big factor to me as well. One of the few things i actually liked about the first Resistance was that you could carry every weapon you found at the same time and change at will. To see that feature go is disheartening. The weapon design was and still is phenominal and to limit that by only allowing 2 weapons at a time is a low point to me.

I rather like this boxart even if it is stock art for now. As long as it doesn't have a boxart as bad as MGS4's. I would have much rather preferred the original MGS boxarts that were more stylized.

Costume packs are 2 or 3 bucks and it's only about 8 pieces of armor/cloths you get with each one.

I'd take that slight disadvantage in exchange for looking like a straight up badass.

You're not alone. I like Uncharted better than MGS4 and i'm a huge MGS fan. Uncharted was a great fresh breath of air.

I'm one of the rare people who don't like Insom's games (just not my cup of tea) but i respect the hell out of them for putting out quality titles every year. And Ted Price always have great interviews.

He has some valid things i agree with (Boss fights and unconventional stealth mechanics that didn't always mesh correctly). But really the STORY? He obviously never liked MGS3. MGS3 is probably the best game out the whole series in my opinion and it's story is deep as well. He didn't get that THE BOSS effected everyone! The Patriots were born because of how Big Boss and Major Tom felt betrayed after they found out the truth. Then they further split because of difference in ideals. Major Tom g...

I think it's more a matter of skill set. You need different skills to play different games. Strategy as well. Some games is more shallow in some reguards sure but every game needs skill. There's strategies and tactics needed in every game and different tiers of strategy for almost every game. I agree with HipHopGamer on this one.

The opening was hilarious. As for best graphics i've seen so far it's been Killzone 2. The detail and everything that's going on is in high quality, sharp and just makes your eyes pop out. Dead Space does look good (better than i thought for sure) but it's not the best looking game on the market.

I'm guessing it'll work similar to they Spy in TF2. You'll look like a "friendly" to the enemy so they'll hesitate to shoot you. In doing so you could probably take advantage and take a few of them out. And i'm thinking Saboteur would work much better in objective based games seeing as you can create confusion and get to key area's. I'm sure what i'm saying is just the tip of the iceberg of what you can do i'm basing this off of some things i do as Spy in TF2.

Awesome. The saboteur is carrying a Bizon.

Really you think CoD4 and Socom are similar? In what aspects? I never got that impression while playing the beta.

6344d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'd expect nothing less.

What were your impressions from the demo if you played it?

6345d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah that part i had to attempt numerous times. It was weird to do at first but then became like clockwork after awhile. I was already going to buy the game and the demo just confirmed it. I love the minimalist combat and love the feel for the game. It was surprisingly relaxing to me and it felt much more like a action adventure game than a Shooter.

Edit: Yeah i usually hate blur filter *looks at GTA4 & BioShock* but i didn't notice it in the Mirrors Edge demo.

Brightness higher on Ps3. Darker colors on 360. Also i saw some Jitters on the Ps3 side but when i played the demo today i saw no such thing.

On another note though. Don't you think if they're going to continue to do these "comparisons" the video's should at least be in Hi-Def Widescreen?

Damn there a clean sweep for CoD4. Hell it even came in 3rd place for best Nintendo game.

6345d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I assure you it's more than CoD4 without the prone. You must be forgetting the badges and how you can mix and match them. The cover mechanic looks good to me but if they say it didn't work in multiplayer right then i have to trust their judgment. The multiplayer looks like a great mesh of the speed and stats of CoD4 mixed with the classes of TF2. But with it's own little flair like looking before you respawn, bots, and it's 32 players online. I'm sure the bigger the environments got with play...

Yeah it definitely has a little portal vibe to it. Especially the "clean" look for the graphics.

6345d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don't know if a cover system would have really even flowed with the vibe they're trying to get with the multiplayer. Killzone 2 seems like a combination of Team Fortress 2 and CoD4 and i couldn't really imagine either game having a cover system. The pacing for both games are too fast and fluid to implement it.
